It’s refreshing to find a public official who is willing to speak up for the importance of faith in the course of his or her official duties. Florida’s Attorney General Bill McCollum is a shining example of a public official not afraid to speak the truth:
From the Publication of the Office of the Attorney General • Volume 7, Issue 14 • April 10, 2009 “These are challenging times for our state and nation. No Floridian is immune to the impacts of the current economic crisis. Many are losing homes and some are falling prey to scam artists taking advantage of peoples’ fears.
In times like these, Holy Week and Passover are especially significant. These religious holidays keep us grounded and help us refocus on what is really important in our lives… We should never forget just how fortunate we are to live in a country where we are free to openly worship and gather in whatever manner we choose.”

Bill McCollum, apparently, professes to have christian faith, but, hates a group of people – gays. How does that work? I thought the christians say Jesus died for every one.
Thanks for writing. I believe you are correct that Bill McCollum is Christian. I believe you are incorrect in saying that Bill McCollum hates gays. I know you are correct in saying that Jesus Christ died for everyone.
